Welcome to Duchess Africa

Established in May 2023, we are a dynamic non-profit fellowship of Black women from various countries around the globe. We are dedicated to celebrating sisterhood, empowering women, and safeguarding our members and the wider female community. As our work expands, we now also prioritize engaging African men who desire to grow into thoughtful leaders, allies, and partners in progress.

Our goal is to foster a community that nurtures meaningful relationships, offers educational opportunities, and serves as a platform for enacting positive change in local communities and the broader world. While our core is sisterhood, we believe that transformation is most powerful when it includes men who support and contribute to the empowerment of women.

As a young organisation, we bring a fresh perspective and an energy that comes with the excitement of new beginnings. We are eager to create a dynamic community that is inclusive, diverse, and welcoming to all women. We believe that our strengths lie in our ability to harness the power of collaboration, inspire change, and bring new ideas to the table.
